On 3 April 2025, Yinson Production Angola conducted a beach clean-up at Nicha Beach, located in the southern region of Luanda. The initiative, held under the company’s Waves of Change environmental programme, aimed to raise awareness about marine pollution and support the preservation of local coastal ecosystems.
The event saw active participation from various departments within the Angola office, including both leadership and support teams. Contributing to the effort were Country Manager Jose Ferreira, HR Manager Edgar Kalu, Finance Manager Joao Domingos, Office Administrator Evalice Guilherme, Senior Associate Ruben Chimunga, HSEQ Manager Sambo Luzolo, Crewing Coordinator Afonso Diamuangana, IT Operations Specialist Edvaldo Pires, Reliability Engineer Estaneslau Adelino, Local Content, CSR & Permits Coordinator Ndilia Francisco, and Supply Chain Supervisor Joao Carmona.
Yinson Production was also pleased to welcome several colleagues from the Norway office. Commercial Manager Siri Aas-Hanssen, Head of FP&A EAA, Operations Marianne Beatrice Borch, and Supply Chain Systems Specialist Lajos Molnar joined the activity to show their support and reaffirm the company’s commitment to global sustainability efforts.
The team focused on collecting recyclable waste, with particular emphasis on plastic bottles. More than 100 bottles were gathered and handed over to Nação Verde, a local association dedicated to responsible recycling. Non-recyclable waste was also collected and properly managed by Angola’s national waste collection company.
This initiative reflects Yinson Production Angola’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and its broader sustainability objectives. The company remains dedicated to fostering cleaner communities and encouraging collective action towards a greener future.
