Our Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and Procedure aims to provide clear guidance for our employees, business partners and third parties, assisting them in recognising the risks associated with bribery and corruption. It serves as a tool to promote awareness and outlines strategies to avoid and prevent any involvement in corrupt business practices throughout their daily professional activities.
At Yinson, we actively encourage our stakeholders to raise concerns related to suspected or actual violations of Yinson’s Code of Business Ethics (COBE), inaccuracies in financial reporting, non-compliance with laws and regulations, deviations from policies and procedures, inappropriate conduct, or malpractices. We have established an independent whistleblowing channel whereby individuals can privately report issues confidently without fear of reprisal or unfair treatment.
Frequent awareness on whistleblowing practices is promoted through Yinson’s ABAC Online Training Module and through the dissemination of memos along with posters at our global offices. We also carry out periodical surveys to third parties on our ABMS and Whistleblowing effectiveness.
We have published a statement to ensure compliance with the Norwegian Transparency Act in 2023. The statement outlines the company’s commitment to safeguarding human rights and maintaining decent working conditions across all operations. This is achieved through a series of policies and due diligence practices that are in line with international standards and the requirements of the Norwegian legislation.
